About a year ago I was asked to storyboard an idea for a 30 to 60 second animation to discourage people from supporting private accounts in Social Security. Well, it never came to be, but I still like the idea on its own and I’m thinking I may still give it a go.

A student painting inspired me to model this guy. He’s based on this exact model from the YardBirds scultpure collection. It seems you can find these sculptures in gardening, birding and other specialty stores everywhere these days. Amazingly, it appears they are all still hand-crafted by one person.
